I have worked in the mental health profession for over a decade in many different roles. I have worked as a therapist in private practice, an instructor in higher education, and a coach of highly successful teams. I’ve worked with multi-millionaires and people who were actively homeless, and worked with athletes who were last on the roster all the way up to Olympians. These unique experiences have allowed me to grow my toolkit so that I am adaptable in meeting people wherever they are in their journey. I like to say that coaching, teaching, and therapy are all the same skill set, just used in different contexts.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors and really enjoy time at home with my family. My wife and I have two boys, who are wild and keep us on our toes. We also have three dogs, two Great Dane mixes who think they are lap dogs, and a long-haired chihuahua who thinks he’s a big dog. We all love time outside on hikes, camping, and on the many beautiful bodies of water nearby. I have strong opinions about books and music, and I can be a bit of a nerd when it comes to the psychology of superheroes.
